Find out here about our services for adults
We are a specialist provider of services for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities.
We work with people so that they can live the lives they want to whatever their level of ability.
We can support people in all areas of their lives including:
- personal care needs
- domestic tasks
- budgeting and money management
- help with finding housing
- training and skills development
- support to find a job or voluntary work
- community activities, leisure and socialising
- healthcare needs
- mental wellbeing
We also work with families, carers and advocates so that they are involved in the process if the person wants them to be, or if they are acting on behalf of someone who needs support with decision making.
Together we can decide how to deliver support in practice. We review this as often as we need to so we can continue to meet people’s needs and expectations. Our aim is to produce a detailed and tailored, individual contract with each person we support.
We want to help you choose a support team that shares your interests, understands your needs and supports you to lead the life you want. We will work with you to recruit and choose the right people to support you.
We want to give you as much choice as possible when choosing your team and for you to be as involved as much as you would like to be.
We have an established, dedicated team, many of whom have worked for ID Support since the service was established. We place high priority on supporting people to continue their professional development with us and keep up to date with new developments in all aspects of specialist support provision. We encourage all support workers to progress from intermediate qualifications (the sector standard) and achieve advanced qualifications.
